People-
People are the core of any successful business. We, at Vizion, value our customers, employees and associates because people, not houses, are the backbone of what we do.

Promotion-
WE believe that EVERYONE should have the opportunity to promote themselves from renting to homeownership regardless of their current situation. It is our goal to assist all who have the desire, to stop investing in their landlords and begin investing in themselves.

Public Service-
Vizion strives to purchase homes in neighborhoods that provide a safe, family-oriented environment for all our homeowners to enjoy. By purchasing and remodeling run-down homes in good areas, we try to increase neighboring property values and revitalize entire neighborhoods. In addition, Vizion and its employees participate in community charity events including Christmas in October and Bikers for Babies.

Promise-
Vizion believes in the theory of “under-promise and over-deliver” which means that we strive to exceed your expectations. What we say is what we do. We promise to listen to you and take the time to understand your situation and your needs. We will make every effort to put your family in a home that fits your needs and your budget.

Who We Are

At Vizion, we pride ourselves on our commitment to giving back to the community. We are a diverse group of individuals dedicated to one cause: providing quality, affordable housing to families and individuals in the Greater Kansas City Area. Because we are a company which values our clients and community, we pass along a great value every time we sell one of our homes. We work to ensure that our company provides profit not only to our owners and employees, but also to each and every one of our clients and customers. Our goal is to renew area homes and in turn renew the spirits of those who purchase our homes.

The Vizion Group does not charge for any consultations, phone calls, showings or office appointments. Our service is free to those interested in purchasing one of our homes. There are no hidden fees. While we have Real Estate Agents in the office, our goal is not to represent you. We are not for hire for any type of Buyer’s or Seller’s Agency and will not ask you to sign any contracts for our services.

Our Team

Aaron Thomas, CEO
Aaron graduated with a degree in finance from Ft. Hays University. Since 2003, he has developed and managed a successful financial planning practice in the Kansas City Area. While building his financial planning business Aaron developed a vision of a real estate investment company. That dream is the compelling force behind Vizion. Aaron provides guidance and support to a team of dedicated professionals in their quest to be the best.

Curt Thomas, Chairman
Curt holds a business degree from the University of Kansas. He worked in hospital administration and healthcare financial management for 15 years before leaving the field in 1990 to start his own business. He continues to find success with the marketing and distribution company that he runs with his wife, Nancy, while providing extensive business knowledge and experience to Vizion. His dream has always been to develop an organization with his sons that would make a difference in the world; the time is now.

Jason Thomas, President & COO
Jason received a Bachelor’s degree in business from Wichita State University in 2006 after just three years of hard work and dedication. After graduation, he worked in business consulting and accounting before taking over the operations of Vizion. In addition, Jason holds a Real Estate Salesperson License in both the state of Kansas and Missouri. Although it was Aaron’s vision to have a great real estate business it is Jason that has been entrusted to bring that vision into fruition.

Nancy Thomas, Director
Nancy holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. She has worked in the mental health field for over 30 years. Nancy started her private practice in 1987 after acting as the director of a mental health facility for eight years. She continues in her private psychotherapy practice in addition to operating a successful marketing and distribution company with her husband, Curt. Many years of business and life experience provide the perfect skill set for the Director of Vizion.

Justin Ukaoma, Sales & Marketing
A newcomer to The Team, Justin is excited to join Vizion not only because of the wonderful opportunities, but also because of his belief in the Vizion of the company and its principles. He attended Wichita State University and has transferred to UMKC to continue pursuing his degree while acting on behalf of Vizion. He has excelled in the field of technology sales for the past five years and utilizes his experience and know-how in the marketing and sale of homes for Vizion.

Travis Stecklein, Acquisitions
Travis is the newest addition to the Vizion Team. He shows great promise in his skill set and knowledge base. He is a motivated worker dedicated to performing tasks with quality, precision, and the customer in mind. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work before obtaining a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2005. His long-term interest in Real Estate Investment prompted him to move outside of his original field of expertise to join Vizion. Travis holds his real estate salesperson license in both Kansas and Missouri. He is well on his way to realizing his full potential as a major player on the Vizion team.

Billy Waldo, Conceptual Construction
Billy has been a carpenter for over ten years and in this time has achieved the status of Master Finish Carpenter. In 2003, he began pursuing his true passion, whole-house remodels, by starting his own successful home remodeling company with business partner Eric Housh. His efforts have been focused on delineating his company from the rest with high-quality, affordable home remodels completed in a timely manner and with the homeowner’s best interests at heart. He became an integral part of the Vizion team in 2005. Billy is married and has two daughters.

Eric Housh, General Construction
Although Eric holds a degree in chemistry, he has worked in the construction field for many years. His career began with two years of custom home rough-in carpentry where he developed an understanding of the importance of a home’s structural integrity. Since that time he has had the incredible fortune to work under the tutelage of many skilled tradesmen in the fields of electricity, plumbing, and finish carpentry. He feels his purpose is to use his knowledge and experience to produce houses that will become homes. Eric is married and has one daughter.
